Maharashtra Police Recruitment: Bumper Recruitment, Application Deadline Extended to December 7th; Learn How to Apply

The Maharashtra Police has announced recruitment for 15,631 posts. The previous deadline was November 30th, but it has now been extended to December 7th, 2025. If you dream of a police job, this is a great opportunity for you, and applying is very easy.

This recruitment will cover a total of 15,631 posts, including positions such as police constables, constable drivers, jail constables, SRPF constables, and police bandsmen.

For these positions, candidates must have passed the 12th standard. The age limit is 18 to 28 years. Candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Candidates will receive a starting salary between ₹21,700 and ₹69,100 (Pay Level 3). The initial in-hand salary is expected to be around ₹28,000 to ₹32,000, with dearness allowance (HRA) and other government allowances, further increasing the total salary.

The selection process will be completed in several stages: first, candidates will undergo a physical fitness test and a physical efficiency test. This will be followed by a written examination, especially for driver positions. A separate driving skill test will also be conducted. After successfully passing all stages, document verification and a medical examination will be conducted.

The application fee for general category candidates is ₹450, while reserved category candidates, such as SC, ST, and OBC candidates, will have to pay ₹350.

To apply, the candidate has to visit the official website of Maharashtra Police mahapolice.gov.in. Here he has to make a new registration by clicking on the “Apply Online” link. After registration, fill the application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Finally, submit the form and download its PDF copy.
