The Madhya Pradesh government has taken a major step towards strengthening the education and safety of tribal students. At the Tribal Pride Day event held in Jabalpur, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that 5,000 hostel wardens (hostel superintendents) will be recruited in the state next year. This decision was taken to ensure better management and a safe environment in tribal hostels. Women's Cricket World Cup-winning player Kranti Gaur was also honored at the event. Several important decisions related to hostel naming and tribal development were also announced.

5,000 Wardens to be Recruited, Hostels to be Renamed
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that all girls' hostels and ashram schools run by the Tribal Affairs Department in the state will be named after Rani Durgavati. Boys' hostels and ashram schools will be named after Raja Shankar Shah. Additionally, the process of recruiting 5,000 new hostel wardens will begin in the coming year to strengthen hostel facilities and supervision. During the event, the Chief Minister honored Kranti Gaur, a member of the women's cricket team, and handed her a check for Rs 1 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the online program on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. He said that the performance of tribal girl Kranti Gaur in the Women's World Cup is a matter of pride for the entire country. Kranti, a resident of Chhatarpur, played a significant role in the team's victory by taking 9 wickets in the tournament.

Laying the Foundation Stone of Eklavya Model Residential School
Prime Minister Modi also laid the foundation stone of the first Eklavya Model Residential School in Manawar, Dhar district. He said that 485 Eklavya schools are operating across the country, enrolling over 1.38 lakh children. The PM described these schools as laboratories of dreams, where students are achieving great things.
