There is good news for candidates preparing for government jobs: JNU has invited applications for non-teaching posts. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 267 vacancies across Group A, Group B, and Group C categories. The online application process has commenced, and candidates can apply online until July 27, 2026.

A total of 267 appointments will be made under this recruitment drive. The positions include Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Cook, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Lab Attendant, Library Attendant, Engineering Attendant, Assistant, Section Officer, and others. Specific qualification and experience requirements have been set for different posts; candidates are advised to check the official website before applying.

Age limits vary depending on the specific post. The maximum age limit is set at 45 years for some posts, while for others, it is 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

Educational qualification requirements also vary by post. Candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 10 and Class 12 passes to ITI, Diploma, Graduation, Post-Graduation, BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, and PhD are eligible to apply. For certain posts, relevant experience and specific field qualifications are required. Candidates should carefully read the official notification for further details.

The selection process will vary according to the post. Group A posts will involve a written examination and an interview. For most Group B and Group C posts, a skill test will be conducted alongside the written examination. Separate qualifying tests will be held for posts requiring typing and stenography skills. Application fees vary depending on the post. For Group A posts, the fee is ₹1,500 for General, EWS, and OBC categories, and ₹1,000 for SC, ST, and female candidates; PwD candidates are exempt from the fee. Similarly, for Group B and C posts, the fee is ₹1,000 for General, EWS, and OBC categories, and ₹600 for SC, ST, and female candidates, with no fee charged to PwD candidates.

Salaries vary according to the post. Group A posts offer salaries ranging from Level 10 to Level 11, while Group B posts range from Level 6 to Level 7. Group C posts offer salaries ranging from Level 1 to Level 5. In addition to the basic salary, other government allowances will also be provided.
