Last Chance to Apply for Assistant Surgeon Recruitment, Salary Up to ₹2 Lakh; 1100 Vacancies Available

The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TN MRB) had issued a notification for the recruitment of 1100 Assistant Surgeon positions, and the application process began on November 21, 2025.

Today, December 11, 2025, is the last day to apply. Candidates who have not yet applied should immediately visit the official website mrb.tn.gov.in and fill out their forms. After today, the application window will close, and the opportunity will be lost.

TN MRB has set certain essential educational qualifications for the Assistant Surgeon position. Applicants must possess an MBBS degree. In addition, candidates must be registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council. A CRRI (Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship) certificate is also required.

The maximum age limit for general category candidates in this recruitment is 37 years. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation benefits as per government rules.

This TN MRB recruitment is also very attractive in terms of salary. Under Pay Level-22, selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹2,05,700. In addition, they will receive medical allowances, house rent allowance, opportunities for promotion, and other benefits.

The selection process for this recruitment will be conducted in two stages. The first stage is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
