KVS NVS Recruitment 2025: There's good news for those aspiring to become government teachers. The last date for applications for 14,967 teaching and non-teaching positions at Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas has been extended. Previously, this deadline was closing quickly, but now you can easily fill out the form until December 11, 2025. Jobs are available at every level, from principals to primary teachers and MTS.

Vacancies from principals to MTS
This recruitment process covers a total of 14,967 positions. There are 17 Assistant Commissioner positions, 227 Principal positions, 58 Vice Principal positions, 1,483 PGT positions, 6,215 TGT positions, and 147 Librarian positions. Primary Teacher (PRT) positions are the most numerous, with 3,365. Non-teaching positions include 1,155 positions such as Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Junior Translator, and Steno. There are also 787 positions, such as Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lab Attendant, and MTS. This means there's something for every qualification.

How Much Education is Required?
For Assistant Commissioner, a Master's degree with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. is required. Principals and Vice Principals require a Master's degree, a B.Ed., and 9 to 12 years of experience. For TGTs, a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject, a B.Ed., and a CTET pass are required. For PRT and non-teaching positions, a 12th-grade, graduation, or diploma is required. Eligibility criteria vary by post.

Age Requirement:

The maximum age limit is 50 years, depending on the post. Those in reserved categories will receive exemptions as per the rules.

How Much Salary?

Different positions have different salaries. The average salary ranges from ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200 per month. Salaries for different posts range from Level 6 to Level 12. Additional benefits include DA, HRA, medical, and pension.

What is the application fee?
For Assistant Commissioner, Principal, and Vice Principal positions, General/OBC/EWS candidates will have to pay ₹2,800, while others will pay ₹500. For PGT, TGT, PRT, and Librarian positions, General category candidates will have to pay ₹2,000, while others will pay ₹500. For Junior Secretariat, Steno, JSA, Lab Attendant, and MTS positions, General category candidates will have to pay ₹1,700, while others will have to pay ₹500. SC, ST, differently-abled, and ex-servicemen will only have to pay ₹500 per post.

How will the selection process be conducted?
Selection will be conducted in three stages: first, a preliminary exam, then a main exam, and finally, an interview. Those who clear all three will receive final joining.

What will be included in the exam?
The preliminary exam will consist of 100 questions carrying a total of 300 marks. There will be 20 questions each from General Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Basic Computer Science, and General Knowledge. There will be 10 questions each from English and a Modern Indian Language.

How to fill out the form:
Go to kvsangathan.nic.in, navodaya.gov.in, or cbse.gov.in. The homepage will display the "Apply Now" link. Click on it. Create an account by registering. Then, select your post. Enter the details, pay the fees, and submit the form. Be sure to take a printout. You have an additional week's time. You can fill out the form until December 11, 2025.
