KMC Recruitment 2026: The Health Department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has invited applications from eligible candidates under KMC Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive will fill specialist positions in various disciplines such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Radiology, ENT, and Orthopedics. All these positions will be filled on a contractual basis in polyclinics.
Candidates applying for specialist positions under KMC Recruitment 2026 must possess an MBBS degree from an MCI-recognized institution. They must also have a postgraduate diploma/degree or DNB in the relevant specialty. Completion of the mandatory one-year internship and registration with the West Bengal Medical Council is also required.
Regarding the age limit, candidates must fulfill the age criteria as of the cutoff date mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit for this recruitment is 67 years as of January 1, 2026.
Selection Process
The selection process for specialist positions under KMC Recruitment 2026 will be entirely based on a walk-in interview. There will be no written examination.
