These positions will be filled in the Water Resources Department, Urban Development and Housing Department, Rural Works Department, Building Construction Department, Road Construction Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Minor Water Resources Department, and Animal and Fisheries Resources Department. A total of 1306 positions are reserved for general category candidates in the Civil Engineering branch.

What are the eligibility criteria?
Regarding educational qualifications, candidates for Civil positions must have a three-year diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. A diploma in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory for Mechanical positions, and a diploma in Electrical Engineering is required for Electrical positions.

What is the salary?
Reservation benefits will be available only to residents of Bihar, while candidates from other states will apply under the unreserved category. Upon selection, candidates will receive an attractive salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years, with age relaxation for reserved categories as per rules. Selection will be based on a written examination and work experience.
