Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026: Job Opportunity in Banking for 12th-Pass Youth—Find Out the Salary Details

The Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank has issued a recruitment notice for 91 posts of Junior Clerk. Eligible candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website.

A short notice regarding the Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026 has been released by the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank. The Bank has informed that the recruitment process will be conducted on a regular basis through IBPS Mumbai. This recruitment will be organized under the PACS and OCS quotas of Himachal Pradesh. A detailed notification will be released on the official website shortly.

To apply for this recruitment, it is mandatory for a candidate to have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks. Additionally, candidates holding a graduation degree or higher qualifications are also eligible to apply. Bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh will be granted special concessions in accordance with the applicable rules.

For this recruitment, the minimum age limit for candidates has been set at 18 years, and the maximum age limit at 45 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Regarding the application fee, a fee of approximately ₹1,000 is likely to be prescribed for candidates belonging to the General category. Meanwhile, for women, SC, ST, and other reserved category candidates, the application fee is expected to be around ₹800.

The selection process for the HPSCB Junior Clerk recruitment will be completed in two stages. First, a preliminary examination (Prelims) will be conducted. This exam will feature questions covering English, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability. Candidates who qualify in the Prelims will be called to appear for the Main Examination (Mains). The Mains examination will comprise questions related to Reasoning, Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.

Selected candidates will be paid a salary under the Level-2 Pay Scale. The initial basic salary will be approximately ₹19,900. Furthermore, including all allowances, candidates can expect to receive a total monthly salary of up to approximately ₹26,600. In addition to this, bank employees will also be entitled to various other government-mandated benefits and facilities.

After registering, fill in all the details requested in the application form. Then, upload your photograph, signature, and necessary documents. After paying the application fee, submit the form and retain a printout for future reference.
