The JSSC has released the official notification for the Jharkhand Intermediate Level Combined Competitive Examination (JILCCE) 2026. **Recruitment for 326 Posts**
Through the JILCCE-2026 conducted by the JSSC, recruitment will be carried out for various posts, including Health Supervisor, Junior Regional Investigator, Multipurpose Health Worker, Medical Assistant, Insect Collector, and Fisheries Technical Assistant. All posts fall under the regular category. To apply, candidates must have passed the 12th standard (Intermediate) from a recognized board. An Intermediate qualification in Science is mandatory for some posts, while Mathematics is a required subject for the post of Junior Regional Investigator.
**What is the Application Fee?**
The application fee has been set at ₹100 for General, OBC, and EWS categories. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories in Jharkhand are required to pay a fee of ₹50. Meanwhile, candidates with a disability of 40% or more (PwD) are fully exempted from the application fee.
**Selection Process**
The minimum age for recruitment is 18 years. The maximum age limit is set at 35 years for General and EWS categories, 37 years for men in backward classes, 38 years for female candidates, and 40 years for SC/ST categories. Candidates with disabilities and ex-servicemen will receive additional age relaxation as per the rules.
**Exam Pattern**
The examination will be conducted in either CBT (Computer-Based Test) or OMR mode. The selection process will comprise a Preliminary exam and a Main exam. If the number of applications received is less than 50,000, the Commission may decide not to conduct the Preliminary exam. The Preliminary exam will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions. Three marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer (negative marking).
Online applications will be accepted from July 20 to August 19, 2026. The last date for fee payment is August 20, whereas application corrections can be made from August 21 to August 23, 2026.
