Jobs: UPSC invited applications for 45 posts, candidates should know these things regarding recruitment..

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for the post of Assistant Director. Interested candidates having the required qualification can apply online through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. The application process has started from 26 July. The last date is 14 August.

Through this recruitment process, 45 posts will be filled in the Directorate of Income Tax (Systems), Revenue Department, Ministry of Finance.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 04 posts
Other Backward Class (OBC): 12 posts
Scheduled Caste (SC): 06 posts
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 03 posts
This is the educational qualification

Master's degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science from a recognized university or Master of Technology (M.Tech.) (with specialization in Computer Applications) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology or equivalent or Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science from a recognized university or Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent or Master's degree from a recognized university or equivalent or Degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

This is the age limit.

The maximum age of the applicants has been fixed separately according to the category. The maximum age for General and EWS category candidates has been kept at 35 years. OBC category has been given a relaxation of 3 years in this, that is, the maximum age for them is fixed at 38 years. SC / ST category candidates can apply up to 40 years. The maximum age limit for the PwBD (Divyang) category has been fixed at 45 years.

General and OBC category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 25. No fee will be charged from women, SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates. The application fee can be paid through online mode like net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.

Selection will be done like this.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview or a recruitment test + interview. Minimum marks have been fixed for selection. Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will be given an attractive salary under Level-10 Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission.
