Educational Qualifications
For the post of Soldier General Duty, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Class 10th, with at least 33% marks in each subject, is mandatory. For the post of Soldier Clerk, 60% marks in Class 12th, along with 50% marks specifically in English and Mathematics/Accounts, are compulsory. For Tradesmen, a pass in Class 10th is required; for certain specific posts, a pass in Class 8th is also considered a valid qualification.

Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 42 years of age. The minimum prescribed physical standards are a height of 160 cm, a weight of 50 kg, and a chest measurement of 77 cm.

Fitness Test Details
The physical test will carry a total of 100 marks and will include a one-mile run and pull-ups. Younger candidates are required to complete the run within 5 minutes and 30 seconds, while older candidates will be allotted slightly additional time.

Selection Process
To be selected, candidates must undergo document verification, a physical examination, a written examination, and a medical test. A merit list will be released upon the successful completion of all these stages.

Salary Details: Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,500 to ₹69,400. In addition, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Provident Fund (PF), and other allowances will also be provided. Candidates are required to submit the original copies and two photocopies of all their essential documents. An application fee of ₹100 has been prescribed for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
