Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed the 8th grade are also eligible to apply.
For the posts of Skilled Artisan, candidates must fulfill one of the following qualifications:
Technical Certificate: A certificate in the relevant trade from a government-recognized technical institution (e.g., an ITI certificate in the relevant trade).
General Educational Qualification: A pass in the 8th grade from a recognized school, along with at least one year of practical experience in the relevant trade.
Special Condition for Motor Vehicle Mechanic: Candidates applying for this trade must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license or a license extract authorizing them to drive such vehicles.
Age Eligibility:
For this recruitment, age will be calculated as of July 1, 2018. For candidates in the General category, the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years. Ex-servicemen will be granted additional relaxation as per the rules, after deducting the duration of their military service.

What will be the salary?
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix.
Pay Scale: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month
Initial Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month
Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other admissible allowances as per rules.
Probation Period: One year
What is the selection process?
Selection for these posts will be based on a competitive trade test for the respective trade. The key stages of the selection process are as follows:
Scrutiny of Applications: Candidates' age, educational qualifications, trade experience, and—where required—Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license will be verified.
Trade Test: Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a competitive test based on the prescribed syllabus for the respective trade.
Hall Permit: Information regarding the date, venue, syllabus, and duration of the test will be provided via a hall permit.
Final Merit List: Selection will be based on educational qualifications, trade experience, category-wise vacancies, and performance in the trade test.
No Traveling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be provided to candidates for appearing in the trade test.

Obtain or print the prescribed application form for the Skilled Artisan recruitment.
Fill in the required details, including the trade name, your name, father’s name, category, address, email, date of birth, educational qualifications, and trade experience.
