UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2025: If you want to get the job of Assistant Commandant in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB, then there is a great opportunity for you. For this, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released recruitment for the post of Assistant Commandant (AC) under the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Age limit to apply for UPSC CAPF
Candidates who are applying for UPSC CAPF 2025 should be between 20 years to 25 years of age as of August 1, 2025. That is, the candidate should not have been born before August 2, 2000, and after August 1, 2005. Age limit relaxation will be given for reserved categories.
Eligibility to get the job
Candidates who wish to apply for these posts should have a graduate degree from any recognized university or institute. Final-year students can also apply, provided they have to submit their degree after qualifying for the PET/PST round.

UPSC CAPF Exam Date and Admit Card
The UPSC CAPF 2025 exam will be held on August 3, 2025. Admit cards will be issued on the last working day of the week before the exam date. The exam will be in two stages:
Paper 1: 10 am to 12 noon (General Aptitude and Intelligence - 250 marks)
Paper 2: 2 pm to 5 pm (General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 marks)
Exam Pattern and Language Options
Paper 1 will be objective type and questions will be in both Hindi and English languages.
The essay in Paper 2 can be written in English or Hindi, but the parts related to Precise Writing and Communication Skills will be in English only.
