The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has extended the application deadline for 69 posts of Filaria Inspector in the Health Department. This recruitment will be conducted through the Second Inter-Level Combined Competitive Examination. The commission has changed the application dates due to increased demand. The last date for online registration has now been extended to December 15, 2025, while the last date for submitting the application is December 18, 2025. Previously, these dates were November 25 and November 28, respectively. Reservation benefits will be available only to residents of Bihar, while candidates from other states can apply under the unreserved category.

What will be the salary?
Out of these 69 posts of Filaria Inspector, 30 are in the unreserved category. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard and possess basic knowledge of Hindi and English computer typing. The salary scale is fixed at Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100. The age limit should be between 18 and 37 years. As per rules, women, BC/EBC category, SC/ST category, and differently-abled candidates will receive additional relaxation in the upper age limit. The application fee is Rs. 100, which will be paid online.

The selection process includes a preliminary examination, a main examination, and a skill test. According to the commission, if more than 40,000 applications are received, a preliminary examination will be conducted. If the number of applications is very high, the examination may be conducted in more than one phase. In such cases, the examination results will be prepared based on the normalization process to ensure equal evaluation for all candidates.
