Who can apply
Candidates applying for the recruitment in Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) should have a Diploma in Electrical Diploma/Electrical Power/Electrical and Electronics/Power System Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical) trade. The condition is also that the marks of the applicants should not be less than 70 percent. Similarly, for the post of Diploma Trainee Civil DTC, a diploma of 70 percent marks in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Only those candidates can apply for Junior Officer Trainee JOT HR, who have passed BBA/BBM/BBSC with 60 percent marks. Candidates who have passed the Inter CA/Inter CMA exam can apply for Junior Officer Trainee. B.Com degree is mandatory for the post of Assistant Trainee. The maximum age of those applying for all these posts should be 27 years. ST-SC category candidates will be given 5 years relaxation in age limit and OBC will get 3 years relaxation, while disabled candidates will get 10 years relaxation.

How will the selection be done?

How much salary will be given

Candidates selected for the posts of DTE, DTC JOT HR, etc. will get a pay scale of 24000-3%-108000. Overall, the initial annual package will be 11.9 lakhs. Similarly, the pay scale of the candidates selected for the post of Assistant Trainee will be 21500-3%-74000. The annual package for this post will be Rs 10.3 lakh.
