Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates must possess a regular, full-time BE/B.degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university or institution. Additionally, at least one year of post-qualification executive experience in the relevant field is required.
1. Executive (Civil)
Full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering
At least one year of experience in site execution, supervision of construction work, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), or project monitoring
2. Executive (Electrical)
Full-time BE/B.degree in Electrical Engineering
At least one year of experience in areas such as the installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems
Experience related to HT/LT equipment, transformers, DG sets, switchgear, and cabling is also considered relevant to this field.
3. Executive (Mechanical)
Full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least one year of experience in site execution, supervision, project monitoring, QA/QC, maintenance, installation, or commissioning
Age Limit and Relaxation
The maximum age limit for all Executive posts is 32 years. Age will be calculated as of November 13, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules. Category Maximum Age Limit

NTPC Executive Salary 2026: ₹71,000 per month
Candidates selected for this recruitment will receive a fixed consolidated remuneration of ₹71,000 per month. Additionally, depending on company policy, they may be eligible for accommodation or House Rent Allowance (HRA) and retention benefits. Medical facilities are also provided for the employee, their spouse, dependent parents, and up to two dependent children.
The initial appointment will be on a one-year fixed-term contract. Depending on performance and organizational requirements, this may be extended for up to two additional years, bringing the total contract duration to a maximum of three years.
What will the selection process be like?
