Jobs 2025: Vacancies for Hostel Managers in Bihar, applications are open until this date only

A major employment opportunity has arisen for the youth of Bihar. The Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) has announced recruitment for the post of Hostel Manager in the state's hostels. The Commission has released complete information about this recruitment, and the application process has begun. Candidates can apply until November 10, 2025. Applications will be accepted only online, for which candidates must visit btsc.bihar.gov.in and fill out the form.

A total of 91 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. 35 percent of these positions are reserved for women. This recruitment drive brings equal opportunities for women. The government aims to promote employment as well as women's participation.

Required Qualifications

To apply for these positions, candidates must have a B.Sc. (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) degree. Those who have completed a postgraduate diploma in hotel management after graduation will also be considered eligible. Regarding the age limit, the minimum age of a candidate must be 21 years and the maximum age must be 37 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025.

Application Fee

The application fee for this recruitment is ₹100, which will apply equally to candidates from all categories. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Applications without the fee will not be accepted.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with 2 marks awarded for each correct answer. The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. Questions will be asked from topics related to general knowledge, logical reasoning, and hotel management.
