CA Final Job Opportunities: There is great news for young professionals seeking their first job after qualifying as Chartered Accountants (CAs). The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced its 65th campus placement program. Interviews will be conducted across 29 cities nationwide. So far, 78 companies have confirmed their participation in this placement drive, with 5,339 job openings announced in the first phase alone. Notably, over 80 percent of the candidates who passed the CA Final exam in May 2026 have registered for this placement process.

A Golden Opportunity for CA Final Qualifiers
This ICAI campus placement program is primarily organized for candidates who passed the May 2026 CA Final examination. A total of 7,931 candidates were successful in this exam. Of these, 6,399 have registered for the campus placement, indicating that the majority of newly qualified Chartered Accountants wish to launch their careers through this drive. ICAI states that the objective of this campus placement is to connect new Chartered Accountants with major companies across the country and provide them with a structured, technology-driven recruitment platform.

78 Companies Show Interest in the First Phase
The placement drive has got off to a strong start this time. In the first phase, 78 reputed companies have confirmed their participation. Collectively, these companies have announced recruitment for a total of 5,339 positions. There is a possibility that more companies will join in the near future, which could further increase the number of vacancies.

Job Opportunities Across Various Sectors

This campus placement drive will offer opportunities beyond just audit or accounting roles. Candidates will have the opportunity to build careers in various sectors such as Finance, Audit, Taxation, Consulting, Banking, Manufacturing, Analytics, Risk Management, and Information Technology (IT). Consequently, newly qualified CA candidates with diverse interests and areas of expertise will be able to secure jobs in their preferred fields.

**Interviews to be held in two phases across August and September**

The ICAI has released the complete interview schedule. The placement process will be conducted in two phases during August and September 2026. The first phase will commence in Delhi, where interviews will be held from August 3 to August 7. Subsequently, interviews will take place in Mumbai and Pune from August 4 to August 8. In Kolkata, the process will run from August 5 to August 10. Following this, interviews will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai from August 10 to August 14, while interviews in Hyderabad and Jaipur are scheduled for August 11 to August 17.

**Placement drive to cover these cities**

The second phase will begin in September. Interviews will be held in Noida and Thane on September 21 and 22. On September 23 and 24, candidates will be interviewed in Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Indore, and Visakhapatnam. Thereafter, on September 25, the placement process will be concluded in several cities, including Bhopal, Chandigarh, Durgapur, Guwahati, Kanpur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Ratlam, and Vadodara. Thus, newly qualified Chartered Accountants across 29 cities nationwide will have the opportunity to appear for interviews.

**Packages of up to ₹27.50 lakh offered in previous placement**

The performance of the ICAI's 64th Campus Placement Program was also impressive. During that event, 183 companies participated, and a total of 2,570 candidates received job offers. The highest annual package offered in the previous placement drive stood at ₹27.50 lakh. Meanwhile, the average annual package stood at approximately ₹13 lakh. This clearly demonstrates that the ICAI campus placement drive has emerged as one of the country's largest and most trusted recruitment platforms for newly qualified Chartered Accountants.

**Expectations of Larger-Scale Placements**
This time, over 80 percent of successful candidates have registered for the placement drive, and 5,339 vacancies have already been announced in the first phase itself.
