Job Opportunity in Punjab: Bumper Recruitment Announced in the State, Attractive Salary Offered

Great news for young people preparing for government jobs in Punjab! A large number of vacancies have been announced in the state, and candidates can apply through the official website.

The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released a revised notification for Group D recruitment 2025. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 406 vacant positions will be filled in various departments of the state government. Importantly, this recruitment offers a golden opportunity for candidates who have passed matriculation (10th grade). This opportunity is considered very significant for young people who have been waiting for a government job for a long time.

According to the information released by PSSSB, the application process will be entirely online. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the board's official website, sssb.punjab.gov.in. The board has clarified that the entire process, from application to selection, will be conducted transparently to ensure that only eligible candidates get the opportunity.

The educational qualification for Group D recruitment has been kept simple. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must have studied the Punjabi language at the matriculation level. This Punjabi subject can be either compulsory or optional. This recruitment can be particularly beneficial for candidates who have studied Punjabi.

Regarding the age limit, the minimum age for candidates is 18 years. General category candidates can apply up to a maximum age of 37 years. Reserved categories, ex-servicemen, and other eligible categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules of the Punjab government. The age will be calculated based on the date specified in the notification.

The selection process for Group D recruitment will be completed in two stages. The first stage will consist of a written examination. This examination will be objective type, meaning it will have multiple-choice questions. The exam will test candidates' general knowledge, basic reasoning ability, language skills, and general understanding related to the post. The level of the examination will be such that matriculation pass candidates can pass it with good preparation. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the next stage. The second stage will involve document verification. In this stage, all original certificates, educational qualifications, and other necessary documents of the candidates will be verified. Final selection will be made only after all documents are found to be correct.

Candidates selected under this recruitment will be paid according to the 7th Central Pay Commission. The pay level for Group D posts is Level-1. The starting salary will be ₹18,000 per month, which can increase up to ₹56,900. In addition, other allowances will be provided as per the rules of the Punjab Government. This may include dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other benefits. Overall, selected candidates will receive a stable and secure job.

After that, the candidate will have to register themselves. During registration, necessary information such as name, mobile number, and email ID will have to be filled in. After completing the registration, a login ID and password will be provided.

After logging in, the application form will open, where personal information, educational details, and contact information will have to be filled in.  Then, scanned copies of the required documents must be uploaded in the specified format. Finally, the application fee must be paid online. After carefully reviewing all the information, the application form should be submitted. It is also important to save a printout or PDF of the application form for future reference.
