What qualifications are required for Technical Assistant?
There are a total of eight posts for Technical Assistant. Candidates with diverse technical specializations will be recruited for these positions.
For all these posts, a BE/B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with a minimum of 55% marks is mandatory.
What is required for the Technical Manager posts?
There are four posts for Technical Manager. For these as well, a BE/B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 55% marks is required.
At least five years of experience in the relevant field is required for posts at this level.
What qualifications are required for Assistant Director?
There are two posts for Assistant Director. For these, a BE/B.Tech, M.Sc., or MCA degree in the relevant technical subject with at least 55% marks is mandatory.
Candidates must possess at least 10 years of work experience in the relevant field.
What is the age limit, and is there any relaxation?
The age will be calculated as of November 2, 2026. The maximum age limits according to the post are as follows:
Assistant Director: 48 years
Technical Manager: 42 years
Technical Assistant: 37 years
Age relaxation will be granted to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwD candidates, ex-servicemen, and government employees in accordance with Central Government rules. IGNOU employees will also receive age relaxation as per the institute's recruitment and promotion rules.
How will the selection take place?
