IIT BHU: Students at IIT BHU now have a new platform for internships and jobs with Japanese companies. IIT BHU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Talendy Holdings Pvt. Ltd. to expand internship and employment opportunities for students in Japanese and international firms. Talendy will provide its portal to IIT BHU and its students free of charge.
Representatives from Talendy present at the signing included Founder and CEO Naotaka Nishiyama, Director of Public Affairs Ai Minamizaki, and Customer Success Manager Kenji Arai. Representing IIT BHU were Dean (R&D) Professor Rajesh Kumar; Professor-in-Charge (Outreach & Industry Relations) and Coordinator (Training & Placement Cell) Professor Sushant Srivastava; Professor KP Sarawadekar; Dr. Pradip Paik; and Deputy Director Dr. Devendra Pratap Singh.
**Everything on a Single Platform**
A key feature of this partnership is the consolidation of the internship and job application processes onto a single digital platform. Through the Talendy portal, students will be able to apply for internships and employment opportunities. Once an application is submitted, the platform will facilitate the systematic progression of the internship process and potential pre-placement offers (PPOs).
**Opportunities Beyond Jobs: Hackathons Too**
The collaboration between IIT BHU and Talendy extends beyond internships and placements; the MoU also includes cooperation in the realm of hackathons. This will provide students with opportunities to work on real-world industry problems and showcase their technical skills.
IIT BHU Director Prof. Amit Patra described the partnership as significant. He stated that the collaboration with Talendy is a crucial step toward strengthening the institute's ties with the Japanese industry. It will offer students opportunities for international internships, employment, and engagement with emerging technologies.
