This recruitment drive aims to fill 60 vacancies for the posts of Manager (Security) and Deputy Manager (Security). Category-wise Vacancy Details

The SBI Specialist Cadre Officer notification announces 60 vacancies for the roles of Manager (Security) and Deputy Manager (Security). Of these, 25 vacancies are reserved for the General category, 16 for OBC, 9 for SC, 6 for EWS, and 4 for the ST category.

Who is eligible to apply?

Candidates applying for the post of Manager (Security) must hold a graduate degree in any discipline. Those applying for the post of Deputy Manager must possess a postgraduate degree. Additionally, for the Manager (Security) position, candidates from the Army must have at least 10 years of commissioned service, having held the rank of Major or above. Similarly, candidates from the Navy and Air Force must have at least 10 years of commissioned service and hold an equivalent rank to be eligible for the Manager (Security) post. For candidates from paramilitary forces, a minimum of 10 years of service experience—with the rank of Deputy Commandant—is required for the post of Manager (Security).

For the post of Deputy Manager (Security), candidates from the Army must have at least 5 years of commissioned service at the rank of Captain or above. Candidates from the Navy and Air Force must also possess at least 5 years of commissioned service. Candidates from paramilitary forces applying for the post of Deputy Manager (Security) must have at least 5 years of service, with the rank of Assistant Commandant or higher.

What will the salary be?

Selected candidates for these SBI Specialist Officer (SO) posts will receive a salary based on their designated pay scale. They will also be entitled to benefits such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Provident Fund (PF), pension, and medical facilities. Candidates selected for the post of Manager (Security) will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,820, while those selected for the post of Deputy Manager (Security) will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960.

Age Limit for Recruitment

The age limit for the posts of Manager (Security) and Deputy Manager (Security) will be calculated as of October 31, 2026. Candidates must be between 25 and 40 years of age. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
