Job bonanza for 818 youths in UP; CM Yogi to hand over appointment letters in Lucknow—what are the positions?

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is continuously taking steps to provide maximum employment opportunities to the state's youth. As part of this initiative, a program is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at the Lok Bhawan Auditorium in Lucknow, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hand over appointment letters to 21 selected candidates from various departments. Additionally, 797 candidates will receive appointment letters from their respective departments. In total, the government has provided employment to 818 young people through departments such as Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; the Directorate of Industries; Medical and Health Services; and the AYUSH Department.

**Employment for 48 Candidates**
The candidates receiving appointment letters include instructors for various trades under the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Forty-eight candidates have been selected in this category. The roles include positions such as Mechanic (Tractor), Painter (General), Surveyor, Mechanical Medical Electronics, Leather Goods Maker, Wireman, and Plumber. Thirty-one candidates have been selected for the post of Plumber, while appointment letters will be issued to 6 candidates for Mechanic (Tractor), 4 for Wireman, and 4 for Painter (General).

One candidate each will receive an appointment letter for the roles of Surveyor, Mechanical Medical Electronics, and Leather Goods Maker. These appointments will strengthen technical education and training activities across various training institutes. Furthermore, the appointment of instructors across different trades will ensure that youth undergoing training receive better guidance in their respective fields.

**357 X-ray Technicians to Receive Appointment Letters in the Health Department**
Appointment letters will be awarded to candidates selected for nine posts of Assistant Statistical Officer under the Directorate of Industries, Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur). The appointment of these Assistant Statistical Officers will accelerate statistical tasks—such as data compilation and analysis related to various industrial activities—at the departmental level.

Additionally, candidates selected for 357 posts of X-ray Technician in the Department of Medical and Health Services will receive appointment letters. Appointment letters will be issued to a total of 404 selected candidates for various posts in the AYUSH Department, including 361 Homeopathic Pharmacists, 4 Homeopathic Professors, 5 Ayurveda Professors, 22 Ayurveda Readers, 1 Unani Professor, 1 Unani Reader, and 10 Unani Lecturers.
