The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors. Candidates interested in applying for the Sub-Inspector positions will be able to apply soon. A total of 83 candidates will be recruited through this recruitment process. The online application process for these positions will begin on December 15, 2025. The deadline for applying for these positions is January 13, 2026.
Age Limit
The age limit will be calculated as of January 1, 2025. The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28 years. Age relaxation will also be provided to candidates from special categories.
Application Fee
General category candidates will be required to pay an application fee of ₹700 to apply for the Sub-Inspector positions. Additionally, the application fee for SC, ST, and EWS candidates has been set at ₹600. All candidates are required to pay the application fee. Applications without the application fee will not be accepted.
How will the selection be conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination, PST, and PET. In the written examination, candidates will be asked multiple-choice questions from the English subject. Negative marking of one-quarter marks will be applied for each wrong answer. PST and PET examinations will be conducted for candidates who pass this examination.
