JK Police SI Recruitment 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the department of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from December 3, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 669 posts of Sub Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police. The recruitment includes a written examination, physical test, and document verification.
Educational Qualification
Applicants for these posts must reside in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. They must have a certificate issued on or before January 2, 2025, to prove this claim. Applicants must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates should be between 18-28 years except for serving personnel. The age limit for them is 18-30 years. The cut-off date for determining the age limit is January 1, 2024.
When will the exam be held?
The exam date, center, and syllabus will be announced later. The written exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The paper will be in English only. There will be negative markings in the written exam. If the answer to any question is wrong, one-fourth (¼) of the total marks allotted for it will be deducted.
National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'C' certificate holders will get 5 percent bonus marks. NCC 'B' certificate holders will get 3 percent bonus marks and NCC 'A' certificate holders will get 2 percent bonus marks.
