JK Anganwadi Vacancy 2026: The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Poshan Project, Uri (Baramulla), has invited applications for the Anganwadi recruitment drive of 2026. What are the application criteria?
For the post of Sangini (Anganwadi Worker), it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed the 10+2 examination. The maximum educational qualification for this post is set at the undergraduate level; candidates possessing qualifications higher than a bachelor's degree are ineligible to apply. Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination.
For the post of Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper), candidates are required to have passed the 10th standard. If a candidate who has passed the 10th standard is unavailable in a particular ward, candidates who have passed the 8th standard may also be considered. The maximum educational qualification for this post is fixed at the 10th-standard pass level.
Age Limit Rules
For the Anganwadi recruitment 2026, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 37 years. The candidates' age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. This means that candidates who are under 18 or over 37 years of age on January 1, 2026, will not be considered eligible for this recruitment.
