JIPMER Recruitment 2024: The application starting date for Professor recruitment changed, now apply from this date

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has updated the recruitment deadline for Professor and Assistant Professor posts. Due to technical problems, the online application process, which was initially scheduled to start on October 25, 2024, has now been postponed to October 29, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can complete the application process on the official website of JIPMER https://jipmer.edu.in/announcement/jobs, including payment of the application fee.

Last date of application and fee

Candidates must apply by November 29, 2024, as applications will not be accepted after this date. As for the application fee, UR/OBC/EWS candidates have to pay ₹1500 (plus transaction fee), while SC/ST candidates have to pay ₹1200 (plus transaction fee). PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) are exempted from the application fee.

Vacancies and Selection Process

A total of 80 posts will be filled in this recruitment drive, including 26 Professors (Puducherry), 35 Assistant Professors (Puducherry), 2 Professors (Karaikal) and 17 Assistant Professors (Karaikal). If more than the expected number of applications are received for a department, a written test may be conducted.
