Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Board (JKSSB) has released recruitment for several posts of Sub-Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police, for which the application process will start soon. According to the official notification, these recruitments will be done for a total of 669 posts. Jammu-Kashmir Police SI Recruitment 2024: Who can apply?
The candidate applying must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and to prove this claim, he must have a certificate issued on or before 2 January 2025.
Jammu and Kashmir Police SI Recruitment 2024: What is the age limit?
The age of the candidates applying, except the serving personnel, should be at least 18 years and a maximum of 28 years. At the same time, the age limit for serving personnel is 18-30 years. The cut-off date for determining the age limit is 1 January 2024.
Jammu Kashmir Police Recruitment 2024: What is the educational qualification?
Candidates applying for these posts of Sub-Inspector in Jammu and Kashmir Police should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Apart from this, they will also have to fulfill the physical standard requirements.
JK Police SI Recruitment 2024: What is the application fee?
The application fee for all other candidates except SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS category candidates is Rs 700, while the application fee for those category candidates is Rs 600.
JKSSB SI Recruitment 2024: What is the selection process?
The selection process for these posts includes three stages, written examination, physical standard test, and physical endurance test. The written examination will consist of objective type multiple choice questions and the paper will be in English only. There will also be negative markings in the written examination. If a candidate answers a question incorrectly, one-fourth of the total marks allotted to him will be deducted.
National Cadet Corps (NCC) 'C' certificate holders will get 5 percent bonus marks, while NCC 'B' certificate holders will get 3 percent bonus marks and NCC 'A' certificate holders will get 2 percent bonus marks.
