The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has issued an official notification regarding recruitment for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Engineer). Applications for the Assistant Commandant (Engineer) positions within the ITBP commenced on April 21. This presents a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure a job with the ITBP. **Salary Scale**
Candidates selected for these positions will receive a monthly remuneration ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500.

**Eligibility Criteria for Application**
To apply for the post of Assistant Commandant (Engineer), candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution in India.
Candidates' maximum age must not exceed 30 years. Additionally, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation. SC and ST candidates will receive an age relaxation of 5 years, while OBC candidates will receive a relaxation of 3 years.

**Application Fee**
Candidates applying for the Assistant Commandant (Engineer) positions in the ITBP are required to pay an application fee. The application fee has been fixed at ₹400 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates. However, SC, ST, and female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

**Examination Pattern**
The written examination will consist of two papers. Paper-1 will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions, totaling 100 marks, covering subjects such as General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and English. Additionally, Paper 2 will consist of questions worth 100 marks based on the relevant engineering discipline. The examination will be conducted for a duration of two hours. To qualify for the examination, General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks, while SC and ST candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks.
