Apprenticeship opportunities in three types of positions
ISRO has released applications for apprenticeships in three types of positions. According to the notification, ISRO has invited applications for graduate apprenticeships, technician apprenticeships, and trade apprenticeships. Applications have been invited for apprenticeship positions across 28 categories.
Who can apply for which position?
Applications are invited from graduate candidates for the Graduate Apprenticeship. Graduates in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, IT, Electrical, Civil, Architecture Engineering, B.Com, BCA, Library Science, BSW, BA (Hindi/English) are eligible. A minimum of 60% marks is required for graduation.
For Technician Apprentice positions, candidates with diplomas in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Engineering/IT, Electrical, and Civil Engineering are eligible.
For Trade Apprentice positions, candidates with 10th-grade degrees and ITI qualifications in trades such as Carpenter, Painter, Draftsman (Mechanical), Machinist, Fitter, Turner, Lab Attendant (Chemical Plant), AOCP, RAC, Electronics Mechanic, and Electrician are eligible.

The application process for ISRO apprenticeships is ongoing. Applications can be submitted online until December 4th, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website https://careers.sac.gov.in.
Who can apply?
Candidates with degrees and diplomas from universities or institutions established in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Daman and Diu can apply for ISRO apprenticeships. Candidates must have completed their degree/diploma/ITI in or after November 2022. Those who passed before November 2022 will not be eligible. Candidates between 18 and 28 years of age are eligible for graduate apprenticeships, and those between 18 and 35 years of age are eligible for technician and trade apprenticeships.
How will the selection process be conducted, and what is the stipend?
Selection for the ISRO apprenticeship program is merit-based. There is no written examination or interview. Candidates must update their marks at the time of application. Selection will be based on this. Regarding stipends, Graduate Apprentices receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month, Technician Apprentices ₹10,900 per month, and Trade Apprentices ₹10,560 per month. The apprenticeship is for one year. Therefore, selected candidates will receive a stipend of over ₹1.20 lakh.
What will be received after the apprenticeship?
Candidates who complete the ISRO apprenticeship will receive an ISRO Apprenticeship Certificate. This certificate holds great value in the industry and can prove helpful in securing government and private sector jobs.
