The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Hospitality Monitor and Tourism Monitor. These appointments will be made on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates are required to appear for a walk-in interview for selection. This recruitment drive is for IRCTC's South Central Zone (SCZ).

**What are the required qualifications?**
For the post of Hospitality Monitor, a 3-year graduation degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is mandatory.

For the post of Tourism Monitor, candidates must hold either a 3-year graduation degree in Tourism or a graduation degree in any discipline along with a 1-year diploma in Travel and Tourism.

Additionally, candidates possessing a 2-year PG degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism are also eligible to apply. Relevant experience in tour operations or travel agencies is required for the respective posts.

The remuneration will be ₹30,000 per month for Hospitality Monitors, and either ₹30,000 or ₹35,000 per month for Tourism Monitors, depending on qualifications. Applicable allowances will also be provided. Hospitality Monitors will receive a daily allowance while on train duty, accommodation charges for overnight stays away from headquarters, and an allowance for working on national holidays.

**When will the interviews take place?**
Interviews for the Hospitality Monitor post will be held on October 5, 2026, at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), VSS Nagar, Bhubaneswar. Subsequently, interviews will also be conducted on October 8, 2026, at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Vidya Nagar, Hyderabad. At both locations, the interviews will take place between 10:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Interviews for the Tourism Monitor post will be held on October 6, 2026, at the IRCTC Regional Office, Press Square, Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, an interview will be held on October 9, 2026, at the IRCTC office, Oxford Plaza, Sarojini Devi Road, Secunderabad. On both days, the interviews will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
