The Ministry of Jal Shakti announced a new internship program on Tuesday. Under this program, selected candidates will have the opportunity to work in the ministry's media and social media department. Interns will also receive a monthly honorarium of ₹15,000. This program is specifically for students pursuing graduation or post-graduation in mass communication or journalism, or pursuing an MBA (Marketing).

The internship is being organized by the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD & GR). Selected students will gain experience in social media work and will be required to manage various social media handles. The selection process will be conducted in New Delhi.

The duration of this internship program will be 6 to 9 months. Upon successful completion of the entire program, students will also be awarded a Certificate of Internship.
