ER Recruitment 2024: Eastern Railway has released recruitment for Group C and D posts. Vacancies of Levels, 2, 3, 4, and 5 have been notified under this recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can submit their application online through the official website of RRC/ER rrcer.org. And rrcrecruit.co.in.
The registration process is on. Interested candidates can apply for these posts till December 14, 2024. This recruitment will be done under the sports quota.

Group 'C', Level-4/Level-5: 5 posts
Group 'C' Level-2/Level-3: 16 posts
Group 'D' Level-1 (7th CPC): 39 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Level-4 or Level-5: Passed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent examination from a government-recognized University/Institute.
Level-2 or Level-3: Passed Class 12th (10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational qualification should be from a Government recognized Board/Council/Institutes etc. or should have passed Matriculation from a recognized Board and completed Act Apprenticeship Course or should have passed Class 10th from a Government recognized Board/Council/Institutes etc.
Level-1: Passed Class 10th or its equivalent examination or Passed ITI or its equivalent examination or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by NCVT.
Age Limit
Candidates applying online should be between 18 to 25 years of age. The date of calculation of age will be 01.01.2025.
Selection Process
The selection process includes assessment of recognized sports achievement as per norms for 50 marks, sports skills, physical fitness, and coach's observation during trials for 40 marks and educational qualification for 10 marks. E-Call Letter for the recruitment process will be available for online download on the website of RRC/ER.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 500 for all candidates. The fee for SC, ST, Women, Minority, and Economically Backward Class candidates is Rs 250. The fee should be paid online through Internet Banking or Debit or Credit Card.
