Candidates have only two days to apply for the 127 Specialist Officer positions offered by Indian Overseas Bank. Candidates who have not yet applied for these positions, for whatever reason, can do so as soon as possible. Candidates can apply for the Specialist Officer position only until October 3, 2025. To apply, candidates must visit the official website.

Age Limit
The age limit for applying is determined by the post. The minimum age is 24, 25, and 30 years, while the maximum age is 25, 28, and 40 years, respectively. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates from special categories. SC and ST candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, OBC candidates will receive a 3-year age relaxation, and candidates with disabilities will receive a 10-year age relaxation.

Educational Qualifications
To apply for these positions, candidates must have completed a BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc, MBA, or a postgraduate diploma in the relevant subject from a recognized institute in India. Candidates must also possess other prescribed eligibility criteria.

Salary
Candidates will be offered a salary based on their position. Candidates selected for the MMGS-II position will receive a salary ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960 per month, and those selected for the MMGS-III position will receive a salary ranging from ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280 per month.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview. The written examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions from English, general awareness, and professional subjects, each carrying 100 marks. The exam duration is two hours, with negative marking of one-quarter of a mark for each wrong answer. Candidates who pass this exam will be called for an interview.

Application Fee
The application fee is ₹175 for SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities candidates, and ₹1000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
