If you want to get a government job in the technical field, then IOCL Recruitment 2025 is a golden opportunity for you. IOCL, the country's largest oil company, has announced recruitment for Junior Engineer positions in its various refineries and petrochemical units. The application process is online, and eligible candidates can apply in time.

How many positions will be filled?

IOCL will fill a total of 394 positions through this recruitment. These recruitments will be done in several major refinery units across the country, including Guwahati, Barauni, Vadodara, Haldia, Mathura, Panipat, Digboi, Bongaigaon, and Paradip.

Eligibility

For this recruitment, candidates must have a 3-year diploma in the relevant trade (Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, Refinery/Petrochemicals) from a recognised institution. A minimum of 50% marks is required for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while 45% marks are required for SC/ST candidates.

Age Limit

Regarding the age limit, the minimum age to apply for IOCL Recruitment 2025 is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as of December 31, 2025. This means that the candidate's age should not be less than 18 years or more than 26 years on this date. However, as per government rules, reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit.

Application Fee

Regarding the application fee, General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of approximately Rs. 300 to 500 while applying for the IOCL Recruitment 2025. This fee will be paid online. SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempt from the application fee. This means that candidates from these categories will not have to pay any fees.

Selection Process

The selection process for IOCL recruitment will be in two stages:

Written Examination
Objective-type questions
Skill/Proficiency Test
This will be only qualifying in nature.  Marks from this test will not be added to the final score. The final merit list will be based on the written examination.

Salary Details

Candidates selected in the IOCL Recruitment 2025 will receive an attractive salary from the company. According to official information, candidates appointed to the Junior Engineer position will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,05,000 per month.  In addition, employees will also receive dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical facilities, provident fund, and other government benefits.
