Indian Oil Corporation Limited has issued a notification to recruit apprentices across various trades. Review the essential guidelines regarding eligibility, age limits, and the application process, and apply immediately.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited presents a fantastic opportunity for young individuals seeking government-linked employment and aspiring to work for a major, prestigious company. The Marketing Division of Indian Oil has released an official notification for the recruitment of Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices across various states in the country. A total of 335 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. The online application process for these positions began on October 5, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their forms online until 5:00 PM on November 4, 2026.

Details of Positions and Required Educational Qualifications

This recruitment drive involves the appointment of Trade Apprentices, Technician Apprentices, and Graduate Apprentices across various fields. For the Technician Apprentice position, candidates must possess a three-year regular diploma in the relevant engineering stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

For Trade Apprentice (ITI) roles, candidates are required to have passed Class 10 and hold a two-year full-time ITI certificate in the relevant trade. For Graduate Apprentice positions, candidates must hold a regular degree (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA) from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates who have passed Class 12 are eligible to apply for the Data Entry Operator positions.

Age Limit and Application Fee

The age limit for eligible applicants is set between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years. Age will be calculated as of September 30, 2026. However, in accordance with government regulations, candidates belonging to reserved categories—such as SC, ST, and OBC—will be granted specific relaxations in the maximum age limit. The best part is that no application fee is being charged to candidates from any category for this recruitment process.

Direct Selection Without Exam or Interview

Candidates for the IOCL apprenticeship will be selected entirely based on merit. A final merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in their educational qualifications, such as a diploma, degree, or ITI. Candidates shortlisted in this list will only be required to clear document verification and a pre-engagement medical fitness test.

Training Duration and How to Apply?

Selected candidates will undergo 12 months of training under Indian Oil, during which they will receive a fixed monthly stipend. Candidates should note that applications must be submitted through the respective National Apprenticeship portals based on their qualifications, rather than the main IOCL website.

Candidates who have passed ITI and Class 12 must complete their registration on the NAPS portal, while diploma and graduate candidates must register on the NATS portal. Afterward, they need to log in, search for “Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division),” and submit their applications before the deadline of November 4, 2026.
