This recruitment drive is being conducted for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. Candidates selected through this process will gain the opportunity to undergo technical training and serve in the Navy. Who can apply for this recruitment?

Candidates who have passed Class 10 and completed a 3-year diploma course in an engineering or electrical trade are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in Class 10 and at least 50% marks in their diploma; furthermore, the diploma must have been obtained from an AICTE-recognized polytechnic institute.

Information regarding age limit, salary, and insurance

Regarding the age limit, different criteria apply to the two batches. For Batch 01/2027, the candidate's date of birth must fall between December 1, 2004, and May 31, 2009. For Batch 02/2027, the eligible date of birth range is set between May 1, 2005, and October 31, 2009. Regarding remuneration, Agniveers will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000 starting from the first year, with a fixed annual increment. Additionally, comprehensive security is provided during the service tenure; a life insurance cover of ₹48 lakh is provided for the entire term, and a lump-sum assistance amount of ₹44 lakh is granted in the event of death during service.

Online Application and Selection Process

The application process is conducted entirely online. Candidates must first register on the official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in, and then log in to fill out the application form under the 'AVR (Apprentice) INET 2/26' category. An application fee of ₹550 plus 18% GST must be paid online; the admit card will be issued only after this fee has been deposited. The selection process comprises the INET exam, followed by a physical fitness test, a written examination, and a medical examination. Candidates who successfully clear all these stages will be called for training at the training center located in Odisha.
