The Indian Navy has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Permanent Commission Officers. Under this recruitment drive, recruitment will be done for various posts under the Executive and Technical Branch for the Indian Navy (10+2) BTech Cadet Entry Scheme. These recruitments are being done for 44 posts to pursue a four-year BTech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy located at Ezhimala. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for these posts on or before 14 July 2025 by visiting the official website of the Navy, joinindiannavy.gov.in. The application process has started from 30 June.

Indian Navy Officer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognized board with at least 70 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and at least 50 percent marks in English.

Age Limit: Applying candidates should be born between 2 July 2006 and 1 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Candidates who appeared in the JEE Mains 2025 exam (for BE/BTech) can apply for this recruitment. The call-up for the Service Selection Board (SSB) will be released based on the JEE Mains All India Rank List 2025 published by NTA.

Indian Navy Officer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process: What is the selection process?

Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix the cut-off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL)- 2025. All candidates are required to fill in their rank as per the Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled from September 2025 at Bangalore/Bhopal/Kolkata/Visakhapatnam. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the SSB interview through email and SMS. Candidates are advised not to change their email/mobile number till the selection process is over.
