Indian Navy Apprentice 2024: The Indian Navy has started the application process for the posts of enrollment of Designated Trade Apprentice (2025-26 Batch) at Naval Dockyard Apprentice School, Visakhapatnam. 10th and ITI pass candidates can apply for this recruitment. A total of 275 posts are to be recruited. The registration process will continue till January 2, 2025. Eligible candidates can fill out and submit their application form through the official website apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. by the above date.
The written exam will be held in February.

Indian Navy Selection Process: Selection Process
The selection process will include shortlisting of candidates, written tests, interviews, document verification, oral tests, and medical tests.
The written test will consist of 75 multiple choice questions (Mathematics 30, General Science 30, General Knowledge 15) in English language, each question carrying one mark. The duration of the exam will be one hour. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Indian Navy Apprentice Stipend: Salary
The selected candidates will be provided a monthly stipend of Rs 7,700 for one year and Rs 8,050 for two years for ITI certificate holders.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/Class 10th with 50% aggregate marks to apply. SSC/Matriculation and ITI certificates without marks/grades/grade points/percentages will not be accepted.
Age Limit: As per Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) OM No. F.No. MSDE-14(03)/2021 AP-(PMU) dated 20 Dec 21 there is no upper age restriction for the same. The minimum age is 14 years and for hazardous occupations, it is 18 years as per the 'Apprentices Act 1961'. Accordingly, candidates born on or before 02 May 2011 are eligible.
Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the minimum standards of physical fitness specified in Rule 4 of the 'Apprenticeship Rules 1992' for apprenticeship training.
Prior Training: Candidates who have completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in the same trade in an organisation as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, as amended from time to time, are not eligible.
