Indian Bank Specialist Officer Recruitment 2025: Indian Bank has released a recruitment notification for 171 Specialist Officer positions. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the bank's official website, indianbank.in. The online application process will begin on September 23, 2025, and will continue until October 13, 2025.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, B.Tech/B.E., Master's, CA, MSc, MBA/PGDM, MCA, or ICSI degree in a relevant field.

The minimum age limit for this recruitment is 23 years, and the maximum age limit is 36 years. Age relaxation will apply as per the rules.

Application Fee:
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is ₹1,000, while for SC, ST, and PH candidates, it is ₹175. Payment must be made online only.

Salary
Scale II pay ranges from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960, while Scale III pay ranges from ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280. Scale IV pay ranges from ₹1,02,300 to ₹1,20,940.

Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of questions from different subjects. English Language will consist of 20 questions and 20 marks, Professional Knowledge (relevant field) will consist of 60 questions and 120 marks, Reasoning Ability will consist of 40 questions and 40 marks, and Quantitative Aptitude will consist of 40 questions and 40 marks. A total of 160 questions and 220 marks will be given. Questions in the English Language will be in English only, while the remaining subjects will be in both English and Hindi. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Marks for some sections, such as English Language, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude, will not be included in the final result. In other subjects, if a question is answered incorrectly, 1/4 of the mark will be deducted. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank.

The interview will be 100 marks.
Based on performance in the written/online examination, the number of interview candidates will be 3 times the number of vacancies for the unreserved category and 5 times the number of vacancies for the reserved category. Cut-off marks will be determined based on the number of vacancies and performance, and candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The total marks for the interview will be 100.
