Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2026: The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 67th Short Service Commission (Technical) recruitment 2026.  A total of 350 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in, from January 7, 2026, to February 5, 2026.

A total of 350 posts will be filled across various engineering streams. These include 75 posts in Civil Engineering, 60 in Computer Science & Engineering, 33 in Electrical Engineering, 64 in Electronics Engineering, the highest number of 101 posts in Mechanical Engineering, and 17 posts in various other engineering disciplines.

What is the complete selection process?
The selection process will begin with shortlisting candidates based on their marks obtained in their engineering degree. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview. This interview will be conducted in two stages, including psychological tests, group discussions, group tasks, and a personal interview.

After clearing the SSB interview, candidates will undergo a medical test to determine if they meet the Army's physical standards. A merit list will be prepared for candidates found medically fit, based on their scores in the SSB. Eligible candidates from the merit list will then be issued joining letters according to their rank.

Educational Qualification
For the Indian Army SSC (Technical) recruitment 2026, candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in a notified engineering stream such as Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, etc. Final year engineering students can also apply provisionally, but they must complete their degree by October 1, 2026.

Age Limit
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this recruitment, and their age should be between 20 and 27 years. No age relaxation will be given to any category for this post; therefore, candidates must be within the prescribed age limit.
