For this, the Indian Army has released recruitment for the posts of officers under the 142nd Technical Graduate Course (TGC-142) scheme. Age limit for getting a job in the Indian Army
The minimum age to get a job in the army: is 20 years
Maximum age to get a job in the army: 27 years
The date of birth should be between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Eligibility to get a job in the Indian Army
Candidates should have a B.E. / B.Tech degree in a notified engineering stream from a recognized university or institute or they should be studying in the final year. Final year candidates are required to provide proof of completing the degree by 01 January 2026. If the results are declared after 01 January 2026, then such students will not be considered eligible.
Salary will be given on selection in the army.
Lieutenant Level 10: Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500
Captain Level 10B: Rs 61,300 to Rs 1,93,900
Major Level 11: Rs 69,400 to Rs 2,07,200
Lieutenant Colonel Level 12A: Rs 1,21,200 to Rs 2,12,400
Apart from this, army officers are eligible for many allowances, facilities and honors, including ration, accommodation, medical, travel concessions and pension benefits.
