Indian Army JAG Entry Scheme 2025: The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 35th Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme. Under this scheme, unmarried male and female law graduates are given a chance to work as Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in the JAG branch of the Indian Army. The entry scheme will start in October 2025
The 35th JAG Entry Scheme is going to start in October 2025. Under this scheme, unmarried male and female law graduates will be able to submit applications for the posts of Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in the JAG branch of the Indian Army. The last date to apply is 28 November 2024 till 3 pm. Interested candidates can submit their application by the above deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in LLB degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+).
Applicants must appear for the CLAT PG Exam-2024.
Candidates must be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State.
Candidate must be from a college/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit: The age limit of the applicant is 21 to 27 years (not born before 2 July 1998 and after 1 July 2004; both dates inclusive) as of July 01, 2025.
56,100 will be given as a stipend, then the rank of Lieutenant
Based on the CLAT PG score, eligible candidates for SSB will be selected in the second week of March. The duration of training will be 49 weeks. During this period, candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month. After training, the rank candidates will be awarded the rank of Lieutenant. For more details visit the official website.
