Indian Army Recruitment 2025: The Indian Army has released the notification for the Technical Graduate Course 143. B.E./B.Tech., M.Sc. graduates can become officers in the Indian Army through this course. The 143rd Technical Graduate Course will run from July 2026 to June 2027 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). Online applications for this course can be made by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in until November 6, 2025.

Completion of the Technical Graduate Course at the IMA will result in a permanent commission in the Indian Army. During the course, the salary will be ₹56,400 per month. Upon receiving a commission, the annual CTC will be ₹17-18 lakh (including free medical facilities and one annual round-trip home). Those joining the Army through the Technical Graduate Course will be appointed to various branches/services, including the Corps of Engineers, the Corps of Signals, and Electronics and Mechanical (EME).

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a B.E./B. Tech, M.Sc. in Civil Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Misc. Engineering streams. See the notification for details.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 20 and 27 years of age as of July 1, 2026.

Physical Standards
Before joining the training academy, IMA, candidates will also be required to pass a physical test. This includes running 2.4 km in 10 minutes and 30 seconds. They will also be required to perform 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, 30 sit-ups, 30 squats, and 10 lunges. They must also be able to swim.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through an SSB interview based on their BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. Marks. SSB interviews will be held in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, and Jalandhar.
