Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Online applications for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army are about to begin. According to the notification, the application process will start on February 3, 2026.  The application process was initially scheduled to begin on February 1st, but it has now been postponed by two days. The Indian Army has announced this on its website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Young people aspiring to become soldiers in the Indian Army can apply on this website.

This recruitment drive will fill positions for Agniveer General Duty, Technical, Clerk & Storekeeper Technical, Tradesman, Soldier Pharma, Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant, and Women Military Police. Candidates can apply for two posts with one application form.
Educational Qualification
Agniveer General Duty

For Agniveer recruitment, candidates must have passed the 10th standard with at least 45% marks. A minimum of 33% marks in each subject is mandatory. Candidates with a Light Motor Vehicle driving license will be given preference in driver recruitment.

Agniveer Technical
Candidates must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. A minimum of 40% marks in each subject is required.

Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard in any stream with at least 60% marks. A minimum of 50% marks in each subject is required. A typing test will also be conducted for Agniveer Clerk and Storekeeper recruitment.

Agniveer Tradesman
For Agniveer Tradesman (10th pass), a minimum of 33% marks in the 10th standard is required. For Agniveer Tradesman (8th pass), a minimum of 33% marks in the 8th standard is required.

Eligibility for Women Military Police
Candidates must have passed the 10th standard with at least 45% marks. A minimum of 33% marks in each subject is mandatory.

Age Limit
The age limit for Agniveer recruitment is 17.5 to 21 years. Physical Standards
For Agniveer GD, Technical, and Tradesman posts, the minimum height is 170 cm, and the chest measurement should be 77 cm, expanding to 82 cm with a 5 cm expansion. In some states, the minimum height is 169 cm, 165 cm, and in some cases, 163 cm. Refer to the official notification for detailed information.
