Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has extended the online registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (CEE) 2025 till March 9, 2025. Interested B.Tech students can apply for the exam on the official website of ASTU astu.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to apply was February 27, 2025.

" The official notice by ASTU states- "As per the decision of the 5th Cell Committee Meeting of CEE-2025 held on February 25, 2025, the last date for submission of online application forms has been extended to March 9, 2025. Therefore, you are requested to take the necessary action to extend the CEE-2025 fee payment facility for the candidates till March 9, 2025.

Assam CEE 2025, scheduled for April 27 from 11 am to 2 pm, offers admission to the first semester of B.Tech programs in engineering colleges in Assam. To be eligible, candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in their class 12 exams or completed a three-year engineering and technology diploma with 45%. AHSEC board exam toppers are eligible for direct admission, they are exempted from the exam. Applicants must be between 17 and 21 years of age. There is age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Step 1: Visit the official website of ASTU at astu.ac.in.

Step 2: On the main page, click on the registration link.

Step 3: As soon as the new page opens, fill out the application form, upload all the documents, and pay the required fee.

Step 5: Keep a printout of Assam CEE 2025 for future reference.

While applying for the exam, students have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000.

Assam CEE 2025: Selection Process

The Assam Joint Entrance Examination (CEE) will follow the syllabus prescribed by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). Structured as a three-hour single-paper exam, the CEE will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Each subject will have 40 questions, making a total of 120 questions. The marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer and deducts one mark for each incorrect response.
