Important Notice Issued Regarding SSC GD Constable Recruitment, Read the Details

A notice has been issued by the Staff Selection Commission regarding the SSC GD Constable recruitment. The Staff Selection Commission will close the ongoing application process for the SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2026 on December 31, 2025. Therefore, interested candidates who wish to apply for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 should apply as soon as possible by visiting the official SSC website ssc.gov.in.
According to the official notice issued, candidates should submit their applications well before the last date and should not wait until the last day to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or login failure on the website due to heavy load on the website in the last few days.

Vacancy Details
According to the previously released tentative vacancy list, 25487 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 616 are for BSF, 14595 for CISF, 5490 for CRPF, 1764 for SSB, 1293 for ITBP, 1706 for AR and 23 for SSF.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and women candidates are exempted from paying the fee if they are eligible for reservation. For all others, the application fee is Rs. 100. The fee can only be paid through online payment modes such as BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay debit cards.

To apply, candidates must first visit the official website. Then, candidates need to click on the 'Apply' tab on the homepage and then click on the relevant link to register themselves. After this, candidates should log in with their login credentials, fill out the application form, pay the fee, and submit it. Finally, candidates should download the confirmation page and take a printout.
