Candidates applying for the Department of Architecture, Planning, and Design must possess a valid registration certificate from the Council of Architecture (COA).
What are the eligibility criteria?
A PhD degree in the relevant subject is mandatory for all positions. Additionally, candidates must have a consistently good academic record. There are distinct experience requirements for Assistant Professor Grade-1 and Grade-2 positions. For Assistant Professor Grade-1
Candidates must possess at least three years of teaching, research, or industrial experience post-PhD.
A PhD degree in the relevant subject is mandatory.
First-class or equivalent marks in preceding degrees are required.
At least three years of experience following the thesis defense is essential.
Publications in reputed research journals or holding patents is desirable.
For Assistant Professor Grade-2
This position is intended for candidates who do not yet possess three years of experience.

The appointment may be made on a contractual basis.
An opportunity for promotion to Grade-1 will be available upon completion of three years of experience.
What is the prescribed age limit?
The institute has also set a preferred maximum age limit for the Assistant Professor position.
The candidate's age should not exceed 35 years.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories may receive age relaxation as per regulations.
What salary and facilities will be provided?
