IIIT Una Recruitment 2026: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Una)—an Institute of National Importance operating under the Ministry of Education, Government of India—has announced the recruitment of outsourced staff for non-teaching positions. The Institute has issued an official notification inviting applications for the posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (Technical).

Who Can Apply?
Assistant Administrative Officer: For this position, it is mandatory for candidates to hold a Master's degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess at least two years of work experience at a reputed educational institution, demonstrating the ability to effectively handle administrative tasks.

Assistant Administrative Officer (Finance/Accounts): For this position, candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Furthermore, two years of work experience at a reputable educational institution is required. Candidates must specifically possess at least two years of experience working within the Finance and Accounts Department of a college or institution.

Assistant Engineer (Technical) – Programmer / Network Engineer: If you hold an M.E./M.A tech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks, you are required to have one year of work experience. Alternatively, if you hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks, you are required to have three years of work experience.

How ​​Will the Selection Be Conducted?
Shortlisting: Initially, all submitted application forms will undergo scrutiny to verify whether the candidates fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria. Subsequently, a list of shortlisted candidates will be released on April 13, 2026.

Examination/Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for a written examination and/or an interview on April 18, 2026. The subsequent selection process will be based on the outcome of these assessments. Final Selection: The final selection of a candidate will be based on their performance in the examination or interview, and on meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria.
