Bank of Maharashtra has started the recruitment process for its Officer Scale 2 (Generalist Officer) posts. A total of 84 vacancies will be filled in this recruitment and interested candidates can apply online directly by visiting the official website of the bank bankofmaharashtra.in. The last date to apply is 30 September.

For the post of Officer Scale 2, the candidate must have a graduation, BE, BTech, MSc or MCA degree from a recognized university or institute. Talking about age, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 25 years and maximum 50 years. Candidates of reserved category can avail relaxation in maximum age as per government rules.

The candidates selected for this post will get a great salary. The basic salary in Scale II is Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960 per month. Apart from this, the bank also has other scales, in which Scale III salary will be Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280, Scale IV Rs 1,02,300 to Rs 1,20,940.

On the other hand, Scale V has been fixed at Rs 1,20,940 to Rs 1,35,020 and Scale VI at Rs 1,40,500 to Rs 1,56,500 per month. The in-hand salary becomes more with allowances.

In the selection process, the candidates will be evaluated in two stages. In the first stage, there will be a written exam, in which the ability and knowledge of the candidates will be tested. After this, the interview round will be conducted and the final selection will be done on this basis.

Candidates applying for the recruitment will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for general, OBC and EWS candidates is Rs 1,180, while for SC and ST candidates it is only Rs 118.
